CNC Swiss Setup Operator Job Opening
SIGN ON BONUS up to $2000
Position: CNC Swiss Setup Operator – SIGN ON BONUS up to $2000
CNC Swiss Setup and operate CNC lathes to produce quality precision machine metal parts that meet all blueprint specifications. Maintain the equipment in good operating condition by performing preventive maintenance checks.
Requirements and Skills:
- 3 years’ experience as a machinist operating Swiss style machines
- 2-3 years minimum experience setting up machines
- Able to read and understand blueprints
- Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers and other measurement devices.
- Familiar with “G” & “M” codes (preferred)
- Capable of lifting 35-40 lbs.
- Knowledge of cutting tools used in CNC machines.
- Able to make adjustments on the machine.
- Good communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Good technical and mathematical skills
Job type: Full-time
Schedule: Monday – Friday; overtime available
1st. Shift: 6:00 am – 4:30 pm , or 7:00 am – 5:30 pm / flexible schedule
2nd. Shift : 5:30 pm – 4:00 am
Salary range: up to $30 hr.
